With only a few days remaining for the sci-fi series to make a comeback with its brand new story arc, what could be more joyous than news about Jasika Nicole, other than her fictional character’s instant overhaul?

The actress hinted that some impact of Peter Bishop’s disappearance would be seen trembling her character’s world. And this has invariably reasserted how important Joshua Jackson’s role is!

We would certainly love to watch the Joshua’s return in the shoes of Peter. And with the mention of a new avatar to come along with Fringe new season, the excitement is irresistible.

Coming back to what Jasika Nicole thinks of her character, I was heavily impressed to learn from her that show has always been greater than the character.

Jasika says that if she and Astrid were put together, what would result would be the most perfect curly-haired girl ever.

Jasika describes the contrast between her and Astrid saying that Astrid is the kind of a girl who thoroughly enjoys laboratory experiments, would never draw doodles during her science class, and is great at calculus. Jasika on the other hand, was bad at all this stuff, but great with creative stuff like music and writing.

The latest season of Fringe saw the actress portraying yet another totally different character, which was that of the alternate-Astrid. Jasika says that this role was something that she enjoyed thoroughly, since this character suffered from Asperger’s syndrome, which is very similar to autism. The fact that Jasika grew up with an autistic sister helped her to play the role convincingly. Her performance easily counts among the most winning performances of the season!
